The fall meeting of the Black Hills Chapter of the
American Meteorological Society will be held at noon on Thursday,
November 15 in the "cow pokes" room at Pizza Ranch here in Rapid
City. Tom Warner, a PhD student at the
School of Mines, will be presenting a
talk entitled "Upward Lightning Triggering Study:
First Year Observations" discussing the first year
of the UPLIGHTS field study that is taking place here in Rapid City. Tom will start speaking around 12:20, so feel
free to come around noon to have some pizza and catch up before the talk
starts.
Hope to see you there!
-Adam
